A Ukrainian drone struck in Crimea before the ceasefire. They are killed


Approximately At 10:30 p.m. Moscow time (9:30 p.m. in Poland), regional authorities announced that Crimea was attacked by drones and the air defense system had been activated.

The Ukrainian drone attack occurred in the town of Dzhankoy in Russian-occupied Crimea. Five people died as a result of the incident.

Sergei Aksyonov did not reveal other details about the attack, noting that specialized services were operating at the site of the attack. “We have the situation under control,” he added.

At midnight on May 6, a ceasefire announced by Ukraine began. Volodymyr Zelensky's office said that if the ceasefire “is mutual,” it could be extended.

The ceasefire announced by Russia will enter into force on May 8 and 9.
