Rospotrebnadzor specialists helped 34 Krasnoyarsk residents sue for money for a failed Summer Global Festival and compensation.

Let us remind you that a large-scale and vibrant event was announced for August 30, 2025. But on the eve of the event, it was announced that both the venue and the date would be postponed to the summer of 2026.

“Disappointed viewers turned to the organizer and tried to return the money for a service that was not provided on time, but their demands were ignored. Then consumer complaints began to come to us, says Rospotrebnadzor. “The Department’s specialists prepared a class action lawsuit in defense of 34 consumers and represented their interests.”

By a court decision with IP Nefedeva D.A. More than 720,000 rubles were recovered in favor of the victims. Of these: 220,695 rubles – amounts paid for tickets; 220,695 rubles – a penalty for violating the deadline for satisfying consumer demands for a refund; 248,249 rubles – fine for failure to comply with voluntary requirements; 34,000 rubles – compensation for moral damage. The decision came into force on April 30, 2026.
