The Krasnoyarsk City Hall is looking for another contractor for the improvement of the Central embankment

In Krasnoyarsk, they began to look for a contractor to improve the section of the Central Embankment. The work will take place in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city, the mayor's office reported.
This year they plan to renovate a 2.5-kilometer section from the Communal Bridge to the Yenisei Gallery. The improvement will take place in two stages. The concept was developed taking into account the historical appearance of the embankment and modern requirements for urban spaces.
The contractor will have to install new exterior lighting and a video surveillance system, remove wires underground, strengthen the staircases to the lower terrace, install a ramp and restore the retaining wall. Also, the sidewalks and bike paths on the embankment will be resurfaced and new markings will be applied. According to the project, the flow of pedestrians and cyclists will be separated to improve safety.
The initial cost of the contract is 49.9 million rubles. Work should begin immediately after signing the contract and be completed in the fall of 2026.
In addition, the authorities have already selected a contractor for the improvement of another section of the Central Embankment – from the sports ground near house No. 45a/1 on Dubrovinsky Street to the Communal Bridge. Work there will start in April 2027, and will be carried out by SportStroyMontazh LLC.
In this area, the old asphalt surface will be dismantled, paving stones and new asphalt concrete paths will be laid, and curbs will be replaced. It is also planned to install more than 70 LED lights, decorative lighting and an intelligent lighting control system.
In addition, several platforms on the embankment will be renovated, more than 40 small architectural forms will be installed, and decking, railings and stair structures will be repaired. New lawns will appear on an area of about 5.5 thousand square meters.
