KHGM published its report for 2025. The former president's earnings are shocking

The company announced the date of convening the Ordinary General Meeting of KGHM on Tuesday in a press release. It also presents the agenda of the Ordinary General Meeting, which will be held on June 9 at the company's headquarters in Lubin.
Shareholders will undertake, among others: a resolution on the division of the profit of the interconnected company for 2025, which amounted to over PLN 1 billion 946 million. The management board requests shareholders to allocate PLN 300 million for dividends, which is PLN 1.5 per share. The remaining amount, i.e. over PLN 1.646 billion, is to be allocated to the company's supplementary capital, in accordance with the management board's recommendation.

Ordinary General Meeting of KGHM
The agenda also included adopting resolutions regarding: approval of the separate financial statements of KGHM Polska for the previous year, the consolidated financial statements of the KGHM capital group, the report of the management board on the activities of KGHM and the KGHM Polska Miedź capital group, as well as a resolution on expressing an opinion on the report on the remuneration of the management board and the supervisory board of the copper company.
Resolutions will also be adopted on granting discharge to members of the management board and supervisory board of KGHM Polska Miedź for the performance of their duties for 2025.
Huge earnings of the former president of KGHM
According to the published report on the remuneration of the management board and supervisory board for last year, the then president of KGHM, Andrzej Szydło, earned over PLN 2,632,000 in 2025. zloty (total remuneration), a the entire management board (Szydło and six vice-presidents) in total over PLN 15 million (total remuneration). Last year, the total remuneration of ten members of the supervisory board was: over PLN 2.1 million. On January 30, Andrzej Szydło was dismissed from the position of president of KGHM. In February, Remigiusz Paszkiewicz was appointed to this position.

During the General Meeting, a resolution will also be adopted on the appointment of members of the supervisory board of KGHM Polska Miedź for the new 12th term, including those elected by employees.

It has mining assets – mines of copper ore and associated elements such as silver, molybdenum, nickel, gold and other metals – located in Poland, the USA, Chile and Canada, as well as copper smelters in Poland.
