5 May 15:10

In the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk, renovation of Krupskaya Street has begun. This was reported to the mayor's office.

The work took place on a 1.13 km long section – from Vysotnaya, 27 to Zabobonov, 4. There are several social facilities here: a lyceum, a kindergarten and Regional Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise.

Road workers will renew the asphalt and curbs. They promise to solve the long-standing problems of pedestrians. The path trodden by residents between houses No. 26 and No. 28a will be asphalted. An unregulated pedestrian crossing will be installed at the ITU office for the convenience of people with disabilities.

Now workers are dismantling the old curb and preparing the base for the sidewalks. Car traffic is not completely blocked – vehicles are allowed in one lane.

In total, 25 road sections will be repaired this season. 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. In parallel, work is underway at eight more sites, including Aviator Street, Maerchaka Street and Oktyabrsky Bridge. Contractors will begin laying fresh asphalt after completing the dismantling and installation of curbs.
