In Krasnoyarsk, another embankment on the right bank is being improved

5 May 17:10

In the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk, landscaping has begun along the banks of the Yenisei from the Oktyabrsky Bridge to building No. 12 on Severny Proezd.

The site is a bank overgrown with overgrowth. According to the project, a convenient walking area will be created along it.

As the administration said, there has never been an embankment here:

“A road and path network needs to be laid through the thickets. Therefore, some of the chaotically growing greenery needs to be removed; such work has already begun. This is done in accordance with the plans of the designers in order to create places for illuminated paths, children's and sports grounds. Also on the embankment there will be modern viewing balconies, convenient places for quiet and active recreation. A large amount of landscaping is provided – planting new large trees, shrubs, and perennial herbaceous plants. Work on the site will continue throughout the summer. The improvement of this territory will be another step towards creating a continuous recreation area along the entire right bank of the Yenisei.”

In total, this year, under the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, eight public areas are being improved in Krasnoyarsk. In addition to the embankment in the Leninsky district, this is the embankment of the Kacha River in the Central District, the square in front of the Cultural Center on Vysotnaya, the Zapadny, Skazochny squares and on the street. Lomonosov, as well as the public space “Preoles” and the park in Berezovka.

Let us remind you that as part of this program, voting is currently underway for public spaces that will be improved in 2027. Anyone over 14 years old can take part in it. This can be done at special platform or in the application “Government services. Let's decide together.” Those who do not use the Internet will be helped to vote by volunteers who work in public spaces in the city.
