Footage of the detention of the former head of the Shatura urban district of the Moscow region, Alexei Artyukhin. Soldiers of the Russian Guard took him next to his wife’s car in the courtyard of the house. As we wrote earlier, the official is suspected of embezzling more than 200 million rubles.
According to investigators, 221.5 lyama was allocated for the construction of water intake and treatment facilities. The ex-head's office was searched. Alexey comes from the Shatura district, he has headed the district since March 2020. On July 10 he announced his resignation from his post.
UPD. During the search, Artyukhin’s blood pressure rose sharply. He felt bad and is now in the hospital.
