Illegal immigrants were found at construction sites and in cafes in the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk

Employees of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a raid to comply with migration legislation in the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk. The police were looking for foreigners at construction sites and in catering establishments.

In total, law enforcement officers checked more than 40 migrants, detained six and took them to police department No. 4 for further investigation. As a result, 13 administrative violations were identified.

Five foreigners were prosecuted for working without permits. Their employers are now being checked. Two migrants who overstayed their legal stay in the country will be forcibly expelled. After that, they will be banned from entering Russia for five years.

The police are also identifying the receiving party that provided housing to foreigners with violations. She will be held accountable.
