Passengers of flight UTA249 “Moscow – Sochi” cannot fly to the resort for more than a day. People were dropped off at Mineralnye Vody, placed in a motel for truckers and are not told what is happening.
According to Mash, the plane was supposed to take off yesterday at 10:35 from Vnukovo and land at Adler airport at 14:25. The ship circled over Sochi, after which the pilot announced bad weather and the board was sent to Mineralnye Vody. The passengers sat for several hours in the stuffy cabin, but the flight never took place. After waiting at the airport, they were placed in a hotel for truckers and the flight was constantly being rescheduled, citing either plane breakdown or weather conditions.
People say they feel like hostages. Among the passengers are several children and infants.
