The debt of minor Poles for traveling without a ticket has doubled in a year and currently amounts to PLN 1.2 million – according to data from the National Debt Register (KRD). The total debts of Poles for free riding amount to over PLN 366 million.

Data from the National Debt Register show that Poles' debts due to driving without a ticket amount to PLN 366.2 million, and the fastest growing arrears are among people under 18 years of age. Currently, they amount to PLN 1.2 million, while a year ago it was PLN 544,000. zloty.
A large increase in debt during the year was also recorded among people aged 18-25 – from PLN 28.2 million to PLN 37.9 million. In the 26-35 age group, the level of liabilities currently amounts to PLN 96.8 million, while in the 36-45 and 46-55 age groups – PLN 103.2 million and PLN 75.1 million, respectively.
In turn, among people of pre-retirement and retirement age, a decrease in debt was recorded – Poles aged 56-65 reduced their debt by over PLN 2 million (to PLN 38 million), and those aged over 65 reduced their debt by over PLN 2 million (to PLN 38 million). – by PLN 2.9 million, and amounts to PLN 13.9 million.
The authors of the information pointed out that men have higher obligations towards passenger transport. They total PLN 249.3 million, and in the case of women – PLN 116.9 million.
The most indebted for driving without a ticket are the inhabitants of the Łódź Voivodeship – liabilities there amount to PLN 123.4 million, and there are 50.7 thousand debtors.
