Orlen will mention a member of the board. It's about energy

Although during the rule of the current coalition, rotations in the boards of state -owned companies are not as frequent as in PiS times, the staff broom also appears from time to time in the entities controlled by the state.
According to Business Insider Polska, this time it can come to Orlen. A meeting of the supervisory board is planned for next week and there is a point regarding changes in the board Płock concern. We confirmed this information in two independent sources.
One of our interlocutors claims that A member of the board of Orlen Artur Osuchowski may say goodbye to the work. He came to the company just over a year ago and was responsible for the area of energy and energy transformation.
– He recently lost his supervision over the energy area. Today he is directly under the president of Orlen Ireneusz Fąfara – says Business Insider Polska informant.
Orlen did not want to comment on our findings.

Orlen and Energy
Currently, Artur Osuchowski as a member of the board is responsible for sustainable development and energy transformation. Before he went to Orlen, he sat on the board of Ciech, controlled by the Kulczyk family for over a decade. He was also a member of the management board of EGE Kimya Polska, implementing projects in the area of electromobility.
At the beginning of his professional career, he worked at Raiffeisen Bank Polska and in international advisory companies: Ernst & Young Corporate Finance and KPMG Advisory, where he implemented projects for the largest energy and industrial companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe.
According to our sources, in Orlen there is no satisfaction with how matters related to the energy area were conductedwhich is successively becoming more and more important for the group.
This can be evidenced by the issues of the Płock consulting group we described on Tuesday, who will review the strategic options for Energa, i.e. another State Treasury company taken over by Orlen during PiS rule.
The rented consulting company will analyze, among others Energa's development prospects, buying the share of the Gdańsk company by Orlen (currently it has just over 90 percent), but as part of alternative variants, its sale also by the Płock concern.
