Changes are coming for home owners. The government wants to put an end to this burdensome practice

This practice is increasingly common in single-family housing estates. Private properties are used as unofficial workers' hotels. Neighbors pay attention to excessive noise, car traffic, fire risk and lower building values. Complaints are sent to MPs and the Ministry of Development and Technology, which announces changes to the regulations. As politicians emphasize, carrying out a revolution in this area will not be easy. — We see that we are walking on a narrow line. We will try to introduce these regulations as quickly as possible, said Monika Wróblewska, director of the department of architecture, construction and geodesy at the Ministry of Development and Technology, quoted by “DGP”.

The Ministry of Development announces changes in regulations

The matter was publicized a few months ago by one of the richest communes in the country, located near Wrocław. There, workers' quarters were increasingly established in single-family houses. Since then, more and more has happened around the case. The matter has already been brought up for debate by the parliamentary infrastructure committee, and the topic was also discussed at a meeting of the joint government and local government committee. An obstacle to limiting the practice is that the problem combines several areas of law at the same time.
