In the Polish city of Jarocin, a 35-year-old Ukrainian citizen was found dead on the street. TVP reported this on May 2.
The man was found on the night of May 1 on Zamkova Street – he was lying in a pool of blood without signs of life. Arriving doctors confirmed his death. According to police, the man died from a wound caused by a sharp object.
Shortly after the incident, the police detained a 21-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who also lives in the Yarocin district. Investigators found the suspect thanks to surveillance camera recordings and the operational work of the criminal police.
As of May 2, the suspect had not yet been charged or questioned. He was sober at the time of his arrest. The circumstances and motive of the murder are being investigated.
