Inter, the team coached by the Romanian Cristi Chivu (45 years old) will make a new attempt to bring Curtis Jones (25 years old), Liverpool's midfielder.
The “Nerazzurri” had the Englishman in their sights since the winter transfer window, when the Italian international Davide Frattesi (26 years old) seemed close to a transfer to Nottingham Forest. Now, it seems that the Liverpool player has agreed to a move to Milan.
Curtis Jones, close to a transfer to Inter
A loan deal with an option to buy worth around €40m is planned at the end of the season. The transfer did not materialize, however, as an agreement had to be reached first to extend Jones' contract at “Anfield”.
The 25-year-old's current contract runs until June 2027 and the situation has yet to be resolved. However, this means that Inter could now make an offer to buy him outright at a significantly lower price.
Jones has given the go-ahead for a move to Milan, so it now remains for the clubs to agree termsaccording to Sportitalia, quoted by sportal.bg.
Curtis Jones
Frattesi appears to be on his way out again after getting too little playing time under Cristian Chivu, a problem he also had under previous coach Simone Inzaghi, so the arrival of Curtis Jones would fill the gap caused by his departure.

Jones is a product of Liverpool's academy and has spent his entire career with the Cormorants.
-
This season, he contributed 2 goals and 3 assists in 45 official matches.
-
According to the website Transfermarkt, his market share is 35 million euros.
In the autumn of 2025, Curtis Jones was integral in the victory of the “cormorants” in Milan, score 1-0, in the phase of the main group of the Champions League.
