“They cut it and put it elsewhere”

Darius Olaru (28 years old), the FCSB captain, analyzed the defeat with Csikszereda0-1 in stage 7 of the play-out.
The defeat shocked Olaru, who does not understand how he and his teammates could not translate what he perceives to have been total dominance onto the table.
The red-blues tried 21 shots, but only in 3 lines did they catch Eduard Pap's goal.
“I don't know how we managed to lose tonight. They gave us a goal in the end after a set piece, I don't know… In my opinion we dominated the game, we had a lot of chances to score but in the end that set piece made the difference.
Unfortunately, we had a lot of chances this evening too, but the ball didn't go into the goal. The weeks go by, we're getting closer to that dam and unfortunately for us it seems like we've slowed down a bit. The way I looked tonight, it worries me, yes,” said Olaru to DigiSport.
Darius Olaru found the culprit for the failure with Csikszereda: “They cut grass and put it elsewhere”
He also found one, even two alternative culprits for the failure: the condition of the turf and the manner of refereeing, influenced in his opinion by the protests to which the home players subjected the “central” Rareș Vidican.
“There were stretches of land where there was simply grass cut from elsewhere and put on the ground. Plus they put pressure on the referee from the first stages of the match. What to do, let's move on”, complained Olaru.
Whoever we play, we are favourites [în primul baraj]. With all due respect to the other teams, we know this is not our place. I hope we will prevail even after we play the second match [de baraj].
