The handball team of the Steaua Bucharest club was de-pointed by the Central Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Handball Federation, the penalty being 3 points, caused by debts owed to 3 players, Nemanja Grbovic, Marko Davidovic and Admir Ahmetasevic.
The most successful team in Romanian men's handball is in the second division, after being relegated from the Zimbri League at the end of last season.

The men's handball team of the Steaua Bucharest club was deducted 3 points, according to handbalmania.ro, information confirmed by GSP.ro sources.
The sanction was caused by the club's debts to players Nemanja Grbovic, Marko Davidovic and Admir Ahmetasevic.
Steaua is in the second division after the relegation from the previous season, the second after the one in 2012. At that time, the “military” managed to return to the first division after only one season.
Now, Steaua leads the play-off standings of Division A, but the points have decreased from 21 to 18. In the 2nd and 3rd places are CSO Teutonii Ghimbav and CS Medgidia, both with 15 points. In fact, Steaua has a surprising goal difference of +124 goals, as opposed to +15, which the second place holder has.
