Here's how to cook manti – and it won't stick together or boil over: 3 life hacks – and a dish like in a restaurant

Usually manti is steamed, for which you can use a pressure cooker, a double boiler or a regular pan. In the latter case, you will need a special stand with perforation. The trick is to correctly lay out the dough products – KP author Oksana Shavyrina recalled this.

How to cook manti in a pan of water

If you do not have a pressure cooker or steamer, purchase a special stand with holes on the legs. Pour water into the bottom of the pan, place a stand on top, grease with vegetable oil, bring to a boil and place the manti.

Life hack No. 1: Leave 1 cm gaps between the manti. Then steam will circulate freely between them, plus they will not stick together when they increase in size.

Cook the manti for 40 minutes.

But, of course, the most convenient way is a pressure cooker or double boiler. Such dishes have several compartments at once – you can fill them completely and cook the entire dish at once, and not in several batches.

Life hack No. 2: Some housewives place lettuce or cabbage leaves under the manti. Then they are guaranteed not to stick together or tear. And you can eat ready-made salad or cabbage – they turn out tasty and juicy.

Is it possible to cook manti in the usual way?

Steamed manti turns out tastier and juicier. But if you don't have a steam rack, you can cook them like regular dumplings. Then after boiling, wait 20-25 minutes – and the dish is ready. But there is a risk that the dough will boil.

Life hack No. 3: If you have a multicooker with a “steam” mode, pour water into the bowl, place a tray and place the manti. Close the lid, turn on the desired mode and cook for 40 minutes.
