The Federation Council approved a law that will allow the creation of a gambling zone on the territory of the Altai Republic. Sibnovosti.ru writes about this.

Now there are five such zones in Russia – in the Primorsky, Altai and Krasnodar territories, Crimea and the Kaliningrad region. The authors of the bill are confident that the Altai Republic has no less tourism potential.
The new gambling zone, according to their plan, will attract more tourists, give impetus to the development of the region, create new jobs and increase tax revenues to the budget.
The law will come into force 10 days after official publication.
