The head of the Military Construction Company (VSK) of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belkov, a department previously supervised by ex-Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov, was detained. At these moments, the Moscow court is deciding the issue of arresting the leader.
According to Mash, among other things, Belkov is accused of abusing the state defense order dated August 9, 2019 – for the supply, installation and commissioning of a tomograph during the reconstruction of the 9th treatment and diagnostic center of the Ministry of Defense on Komsomolsky Prospekt.
Previously, at Belkov’s insistence, his acquaintance with many children, Elena Lyakhovich, who was listed as the general director of Stroykhimproekt LLC, became the executor of the contract for 121 million rubles. The real cost of the tomograph was 76 million rubles.
