Radu Drăgușin (23 years old) had the first discussion with his new coach from Tottenham, the Danish Thomas Frank (51).

Although he won the first trophy of the club after a 17 -year break, Ange Postecoglou was dismissed from Tottenham's helm.

The place of the Australian was taken by Thomas Frank, in the last 7 years Brentford's manager. Until she left the “bees” for Spurs, Frank was the second longest -long manager in the Premier League, only under Pep Guardiola.

On his first visit to Hotspur Way, the base of the team, located north of London, Frank met two of the players he will have.

One is the offensive midfielder James Maddisonthe other Romanian defender Radu Drăgușinstill in recovery after the anterior cross ligament rupture from the right knee.

The club has published on social networks a clip with the replicas between Thomas Frank and the two players.

Here is the dialogue between Spurs and Drăgușin's new coach:

  • Thomas Frank: “Hi”

  • Radu Drăgușin: “Good morning, Gaffer (No – the term used by English with reference to coaches) ””

  • Thomas Frank: “Delighted to meet you”

  • Radu Drăgușin: “I am delighted too”

  • Thomas Frank: “How are you?”

  • Radu Drăgușin: “Everything well”

  • Thomas Frank: “It goes well [recuperarea]? ”

  • Radu Drăgușin: “Yes, yes, everything is fine”

Radu Drăgușin was injured on January 30, in the Europa League match with Elfsborg. Given how much recovery lasts after injuries such as the one he suffered, the Romanian is unlikely to return to the circuit before the end of the summer.

I always say this: “If you do not take risks, you risk anyway.” I think it is important to take risks. If you don't risk the ball, you can't create anything.
