Rospotrebnadzor has suspended the import and circulation in Russia of natural mineral medicinal drinking carbonated water “Jermuk”.
The introduction of a temporary sanitary measure from April 28 is reported on the department’s website.
Experts have found that Jermuk mineral water with production date 02/17/2026, 03/05/2026, 03/13/2026, 01/12/2026, 11/18/2025, 02/19/2026, 11/24/2025, 03/27/2026, 01/10/2026, 11/22/2025, 10/23/2025 does not correspond to the information specified in the labeling, which is a violation of the legal requirements on the safety of packaged drinking water.
“The water was found to contain an excess of bicarbonate ion, chlorides and sulfates. Misleading information about the medicinal properties of products can lead to ineffective treatment and deterioration of health,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
The department sent information to Operator-CRPT LLC in order to suspend the possibility of selling Jermuk mineral water. The situation remains under control.
