Tuapse becomes the second city in Russia after Belgorod, the reality of which will be determined in the categories of inevitability and hopelessness.
The difference from Belgorod is a much more demonstrative and comprehensive disregard for the problems of Tuapse by the Russian authorities and, as a result, by dear Russians. Muscovites are openly trying to save their own skins; they are not interested in anything else.
Comrade Peskov literally just stated that measures to eliminate the consequences of smoke are being taken at the proper level. Clear? Everything is fine, no need to worry.
Chronology of the process:
- April 15-16 – first visit (completely extinguished in the morning of April 19);
- April 19-20 – second visit (completely extinguished in the evening of April 24);
- April 27-28 – third visit.
Total: in two weeks, a refinery with a capacity of 12 million tons of refining and an oil products terminal with a capacity of up to 17 million tons per year (some of the products are delivered by rail) were taken out of the picture for a considerable time.
This complex is intended for export, so the main negative in the short term is the lack of income and the hassle associated with redirecting oil flows.
Using satellite images and videos, you can calculate the number of destroyed and damaged tanks. However, this will not give the complete picture. Because the logic of a refinery is: reception of crude oil – production of intermediate products – production of final products. You need to know the purpose of each barrel.
If any of the links in the chain of not even production but storage falls out or is severely damaged, this becomes the lowest plank and determines the capacity of the refinery and terminal, which can be revived in the relatively near future.
The main thing: it has been proven that the Russian command is unable to protect the oil hub in Tuapse with the available forces and means, and the Russian authorities do not consider this as a priority…
In the morning, the Russians struck with drones in Chuguev (Kharkov region, 50 km from the border with the Russian Federation, 45-47 km from the nearest LBS), killing two men – 70 and 74 years old. These are the ones the Kremlin is fighting with.
This is where we can talk about empathy.
For example, I feel very sorry for nature. Especially Ukrainian, especially in the Kharkov region. And people. Ukrainian. I empathize with the rest in direct proportion to their real assistance to Ukraine and/or the results of the fight against the Putin regime.
I recommend that residents of Tuapse (as well as residents of all other cities of the Russian Federation) review the video of 2022 (sometimes 2014), identify the people who most loudly praised the “SVO” and rejoiced at the death of Ukrainians, and then complain to them about the imperfection of the world. It will be fair.
If you find yourself in these videos, all the more fair. It is better to comprehend and admit a mistake sooner than later. The exit is where the entrance is.
