The “Brides’ Run” took place in Krasnoyarsk, representatives of the Ermine Team sports club reported. The event was timed to coincide with All-Russian Brides Day.
About 100 girls took part in the race. The participants ran 5 kilometers along the embankments of the Yenisei and Kachi.
“The race was initially conceived not as a timed competition, but as an event about emotions and communication – and that’s exactly how it went. Lots of laughter, support, photo sessions and a light atmosphere throughout the entire distance. The girls approached the images with imagination: some chose a sporty style with a veil, while others looked as if they had come running from a wedding – in a floor-length dress and accessories,” said the organizers of the race.
The images of the athletes attracted the attention of passers-by. They stopped, smiled and filmed what was happening on their phones.
