US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that China can help Iran, but not by much. He added that the United States helps Ukraine and has helped it too much.

Trump spoke about China's aid to Iran in a telephone interview with Fox News.
– I think (China) can help them, but I don't think it will be much. They could help a lot more. “I'm not too disappointed,” Trump said. He added that the United States also helps other countries, giving the example of support for Ukraine.
– We help Ukraine, for example. And we shouldn't have done it to this extent, this war should never have started. It would never have started if I were president, Trump said. – So I think China could be a lot worse than it is. So I don't think they were very bad, he added.
Trump previously claimed that there was a “gift from China” on board the Iranian container ship M/V Touska captured by US forces, without revealing details. He also threatened China with 50 percent tariffs and “big problems” if Beijing sends weapons to Tehran. According to CNN and other media, US intelligence assessed that China intended to send Iran anti-aircraft missiles to portable launchers.
Trump admitted that he had recently talked to Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, but emphasized that despite good talks, Russia's war with Ukraine was still ongoing, including: due to the “crazy” and “absurd” hatred between the leaders of the two countries.
“Hate is a bad thing when you're trying to get something done, but it (ending the war) will happen,” the American president assured.
He also once again expressed his disappointment with NATO, saying that he was not satisfied with the alliance and that he needed to remember this.
– We spend trillions of dollars there, trillions to protect Europe from Russia, and we have always been there, and we will always be there, they can't do it without us. And yet, when we needed a little help – even though we didn't need any (…) they said they didn't want to get involved,” Trump said.
