After more than a decade of waiting, the “dogs” prevailed over their rivals from Giulesti and they did it in style! Milanov, Cîrjan and Musi scored the goals for a final score of 3-1. Paraschiv managed the “honor” goal of the band from Grant.
The people of Giulești set the tone of the chants with “Shame, shame on you!”, complemented by a chorus of whistles addressed to their own players.

The first chants were completed by “Serie B players, we break your legs”, “Everyone leave, better leave everyone!”, “Out, out of Giulesti!” and “Look 'em, look 'em!” as the players walked to the front of the pitch, also broadcasting “Let the money go to the boys!” as they were booed and called “pi**es” on their way to the locker room.
Ironically, those from SUD Dinamo started singing “Ole, ole, thanks Rapidule!”. “Mother, mother, mother, you know why I'm happy today / I saw Dinamo, I saw Dinamo / And I immediately fell in love” sang the Dynamo players, who then started a full-fledged celebration.
Throughout the game, PCH supporters displayed several racist messages, this after paying tribute to Mircea Lucescu through a scenography before the start of the game.
On the other hand, the rapidists protested in front of the management, even launching accusations of fixed matches or counters for the betting houses, with the message “Victoraș, the bettor from the city”, referring to Victor Angelescu, the minority shareholder of the white-cherry team, remaining “arborat” until the end of the 90 minutes + overtime.
After the midweek disappointment, PCH encouraged the Dynamo players after the victory in the derby: “We are proud of you”, and Zeljko Kopic and Florentin Petre were later summoned to salute.
