Krasnoyarsk OFAS punished a battery store for illegal advertising on a road sign. The press service of the department reports this.
Rosdorznak, at the request of the company, placed a commercial name and an arrow to the store on the traffic direction sign. By law, road signs can only indicate the type of facility—for example, “car repair service” or “pharmacy,” but not the specific names of stores.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service declared such advertising illegal. The company tried to challenge the violation, citing GOST standards, but the antimonopoly service did not change the decision.
The billboard was removed during the inspection. For violation, a legal entity faces a fine of 100 to 500 thousand rubles.
