After an 8-year break, the Romanian women's handball champion, CSM Bucharest qualified for the Final Four of the Champions Leaguefrom Budapest, after passing the Danish team Esbjerg in the quarterfinals. Today, April 27, the “tigresses” will find out their opponent in the Final Four of the most important interclub competition on the continent.

CSM Bucharest qualified for the Final Four of the Champions League on Sunday evening, after a clear return success with Esbjerg, a team that had managed to narrowly win the first leg, in Denmark.

Romania could have had two teams in the Final Four of the Champions League in women's handball, but Gloria Bistrița, the other representative, was eliminated, after losing the second leg with Brest, in France.
Now, for CSM, the Final Four follows, where the opponent will be chosen by drawing lots between Gyor (Hungary), Metz (France) and Brest (France). The hosts from Gyor are, by far, the most dangerous, something confirmed by the former captain of CSM, Cristina Neagu, at the end of Sunday's game.
“I think it's something extraordinary, CSM is returning to the Final Four after many years of trying. Everything is possible there, if you're lucky and don't beat Gyor in the semifinals, you have a very good chance of playing in the final,” Neagu said on Sunday.
