Florin Tănase, 31, FCSB's most important man this season, openly discussed his future and the possibility of leaving the red-blue gear at the end of the season, when his contract expires.
“Tase” was evasive and evasive about a clear answer, confessing that no discussion had taken place up to this point. At the same time, he revealed that he was offered during the mercato period in the winter, but he preferred to stay with the team coached at that time by Elias Charalambous.
Florin Tănase: “So far we have not discussed anything at all”
“For now we have not discussed anything at all, I am focused on these last matches. We'll see from the summer, it's time to discuss, there's no reason to rush. In the winter, I chose to stay, even though I had an offer.
We were getting close to the play-offs, we didn't think we wouldn't catch him. All the supporters were hoping for a miraculous return and I said that there is no point in leaving for a few months and disappointing them”, Florin Tănase told digisport.
Tănase is welcome in the play-out. He has four consecutive matches with a goal scored, against FC Botoșani, Oțelul Galați, Farul and Petrolul, most recently, from punt cu lim. In total, throughout this season, Tănase has 15 goals and 8 assists for an impressive total of 23 offensive contributions.
There would be many things to say, but we are all to blame. From the first to the last. We apologize to the supporters, they didn't deserve what happened, but in the future we will try to avoid these things. I'm holding on mentally, I'm not affected by rumours. When you're at the most beloved club in the country, it's normal, unverified things also appear, but I'm ready. My focus is just to train.
