Agricultural enterprises in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have begun sowing. Farms are covering up moisture and fertilizing winter crops.

In the Karatuz, Kuraginsky, Shushensky and Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky districts, farmers began sowing grain crops, mainly wheat and oats.

As of April 27, moisture was closed on 70 thousand hectares, spring sowing was carried out on 350 hectares. In the Shushensky district, farmers began planting onions and potatoes.

“This year, field work in the region began with an average delay of two weeks. The weather made its own adjustments with precipitation in the form of snow in the second half of April. However, the short-term forecast is favorable, so farmers directed all their efforts to sowing. They plan to start planting en masse in the first ten days of May. The ministry keeps the issues of providing villagers with the material and technical resources necessary for sowing under constant control,” said Dmitry Voropaev, Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The region is fully provided with seeds of grains and legumes, soybeans and rapeseed. Potato seeds – 97%, the rest will arrive in early May. The supply of vegetable seeds is 87.3%. Traditionally, vegetable growing enterprises enter into contracts for the supply of seeds, which will be carried out in May.

95% of seeds of grain, leguminous and cereal crops meet the requirements of the standard.

More than 138 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were delivered to the region's farms. Deliveries continue. The main types of agricultural machinery are in a high degree of readiness. There is no shortage of spare parts and consumables. Fuel and lubricants are delivered to enterprises on schedule.
