Mihai Stoica, president of the Board of Directors from FCSBannounced that the season is over for Siyabonga Ngezanathe injured central defender in the match with Farul, score 3-2.
The South African chose with a fractured rib after a duel with Denis Alibec, his former teammate. Ngezana will be out for around 4 weeks and is at risk of missing South Africa's World Cup squad.
Ngezana had missed 12 consecutive matches until the duel with Farul, due to another injury, to the meniscus. He returned to the field at Ovidiu, where he ticked off 13 minutes.
Mihai Stoica: “Ngesana misses 3-4 weeks”
“It's over for Ngezana too, it's unbelievable like that. Look who injured him. Alibec injured him in the match with Farul and fractured a rib. I think it's the first time Alibec injured someone.
I don't know if he misses the World Cup, but he misses 3-4 weeks. It could be in the playoffs, but with the way Mihai Popescu and Dawa are playing, it's hard to appear”, said Mihai Stoica, on Prima Sport 1.
FCSB will play 4 or 5 more matches in this final season. In the play-out he will meet Csikszereda, Unirea Slobozia and Hermannstadt.
It will then play in the first play-off for the Conference against another play-out team. If they win, they will face the 4th place in the play-off in the second bracket, for qualification in the European preliminaries.

Mihai Popescu and Dawa will be starters in the center of the defense at the end of the season
Mihai Popescu and Dawa impressed Gigi Becali and Mihai Stoica at the end of the season and will be starters in the following games. The two returned this year after long-term injuries.
“We have central defenders now. Dawa is better. Although he was injured and they said he couldn't do it anymore, he is better than before. Mihai Popescu is better than before the injury. We will extend Mihai Popescu's contract. We will propose an extension regardless of whether we win Europe.
