Paris Saint-Germain is considering the transfer of Argentinian striker Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid, the French press announces. Luis Enrique (55 years old) is impressed by the impact of the 25-year-old footballer.
According to information that appeared on Monday, PSG has already begun to explore the possibility of a transfer, and the player would be open to the idea of working with the Spanish technician.
Both Barcelona and other Premier League clubs are interested in Alvarez, but the world champion does not want to return to England and would prefer a move to the French capital if the teams reach an agreement.
Luis Enrique wants him at any cost
According to Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Enrique sees Alvarez as the perfect “upgrade” for his attacking line.
The Spanish coach believes the Argentine's versatility, able to play both up front and behind the striker, would help him diversify the team's style.
According to the quoted source, the move is not realistic for this winter, but is a hot track for the summer of 2026, should PSG agree to activate the clause or negotiate an advantageous deal.

Arriving in Madrid in 2024, Julian Alvarez is quoted at 100 million euros by Transfermarkt. The Argentinian has 38 goals and 12 assists in 72 official games for the Reds.
