Iran's foreign minister will fly to Pakistan. Earlier, the US delegation canceled the visit

The Iranian minister and his delegation arrived in the capital of Oman, Muscat, on Saturday evening, and earlier he was in Islamabad, where he met, among others, with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif. However, there was no second round of talks with the US delegation.
After Aragchi's flight from Islamabad, US President Donald Trump announced that he had canceled the trip of his special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner to Pakistan for talks with Iran. He emphasized, however, that this did not mean the resumption of military operations against Iran.
Trump noted that he canceled the delegation's departure because it would be “too much traveling.” He also repeated that it is not known who rules Iran. Aragchi, referring to this decision of the American leader, wrote on the X platform that it is not clear whether the United States “really seriously” takes diplomacy.
Pakistan is mediating the conflict between Iran and the United States. Islamabad is trying to organize a second round of negotiations between the parties to the conflict.
