2 times more sugar in root vegetables: this variety of carrots is sweeter than honey – children drag it straight from the garden

There are carrots in every garden bed, but everyone has their own approach to choosing a variety: give one the keeping quality, the other the juiciness. However, there is one variety that meets the requirements of even the most capricious summer resident. We are talking about carrots “Children's sweetness”.

Description of the variety

This root vegetable seems to be created for those who love the crunch of sweet carrots. It contains a lot of sucrose and carotene, and the core is so small that you hardly notice it.

Carrots grow large, with a blunt nose, bright orange, juicy and tender – without a hint of bitterness or fiber, experts from the portal “Ferma.expert” (18+) reported.

Harvest

The variety is mid-season, but the first sample can be taken from mid-July (although it will gain full sugar later). The main harvest is in August–September.

However, the most important advantage of the “Children's Sweetness” variety is that these carrots are perfectly stored, do not wither and do not lose their sweetness. From one square you can easily collect 7 kg of excellent root vegetables.

Real reviews

“I planted “Children’s Sweetness” last season – the children just dragged it from the garden, cleaned it and crunched it. Very sweet, juicy, no hard core. And it was stored perfectly, not a single one spoiled until April. Now I only plant it,” said Elena from the Moscow region.

“I tried many varieties, but this one really surprised me. The carrots are even, smooth, the ends are not crooked, it’s a pleasure to peel. It’s generally perfect for juice, it’s clear and sweet. I gave it to my neighbors to try, and now they want the same seeds,” noted Olga from the Krasnodar Territory.
