An exchange of prisoners took place today.
The weather at the place where our guys arrive is sunny. A good sign.
193 Ukrainian soldiers were returned.
On a separate instruction from President Zelensky, this exchange was prepared especially carefully.
Because there are several things that make today's exchange exceptional.
Firstly, none of these guys were officially confirmed as prisoners by the ICRC. But we found them and returned them.
Secondly, they were all held in Chechnya, where conditions for prisoners are especially difficult. Therefore, it was extremely important to take our people from there.
Thirdly, among those released there are many military personnel from the Kursk direction.
In a word – a good and long-awaited exchange.
