A passenger train collided with a KamAZ truck near Kotelnikovo, Volgograd region. Main:

— The truck was traveling to the construction site of the EuroChem-VolgaKaliy enterprise and belonged to a leasing company from Kaliningrad; a construction company from Moscow leased it. There are 31 unpaid fines hanging on it since the beginning of 2024. The total amount is 350k rubles.
— After the collision, the cabin was thrown about 15 meters from the crossing. The driver was found nearby, but he survived.
— There were 813 people on the train. Including children. A woman was pinned in one of the dismounted carriages. Rescuers got her out and handed her over to doctors.
— 30 ​​people were hospitalized, including 15 children. The woman, the machinist and the driver of the KamAZ truck are in serious condition. They have fractures of the pelvic bones. Aslambek also has a broken rib and a concussion – he is now being operated on. In total, approximately 140 people were injured – they had scratches and bruises. Everyone was helped on the spot.
— The culprit of the accident is the driver of the dump truck, who violated the traffic rules and drove to the crossing.
