The prosecutor's office achieved the return of 13.7 hectares of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir to the state. The site in the Krasnoturansky district was illegally privately owned.

It all started in 2021, when two local residents allocated their shares from the common agricultural land and registered ownership of a plot of more than 42 hectares. Later, this entire territory passed to one owner.

However, at the request of the prosecutor's office The cadastral engineer found that almost 13.7 hectares of those registered were not on land, but right in the water – beyond the official shoreline of the reservoir.

The law does not allow water bodies to be privately owned. The prosecutor's office asked the court to revoke the right.

The court sided with the department, and now the water area is again in state ownership.
