Feeding pigeons will lead to jail time in Hong Kong
The maximum penalty for illegal feeding will be increased to a fine of 100 thousand Hong Kong dollars and imprisonment for one year.
Now in the Asian metropolis there is already a ban on feeding wild animals – monkeys, wild boars and sparrows. Wild pigeons were previously classified as domestic animals in legislation.
