Dinamo's striker, OUT » Andrei Nicolescu: “It's not good at all”

The Frenchman missed the semi-final of the Romanian Betano Cup against Craiova, 1-1 after 120 minutes and 4-1 for Olteni on penalties. The day after the match, Andrei Nicolescu, Dinamo's president, announced live that Mamadou will miss the following games as well.

Andrei Nicolescu: “Karamoko is not good at all”

If the recovery goes according to the Dynamo players' plan, Karamoko could get minutes with Argeș, in the 8th round of the Superliga play-off.

In the absence of Karamoko, Dinamo has George Pușcaș and Alexandru Pop available for the position of central attacker. The first was a starter with the Oltenians in the Cup, the second entered along the way, in the 64th minute.

“Karamoko has a muscle problem. He has two more weeks, it's not good at all”said Andrei Nicolescu, at Digi Sport 1.

Karamoko, brought in the summer from Hungary, has been Dinamo's main striker this season. The Frenchman, who spent his career at Wolfsburg, LASK and Copenhagen, has scored 6 goals in the Superliga, in 26 appearances. He did not score in the Romanian Cup.

With Karamoko, Andrei Mărginean and Opruț injured, Kopic could call on the following possible starting formulas with Rapid:

• Option 1: Epassy – Sivis, Boateng, Stoinov, Țicu – Soro, Gnahore, Cîrjan – Musi/Mazilu, Pop, Armstrong

• Option 2: Epassy – Boateng, Duțu, Stoinov – Sivis, Gnahore, Cîrjan, Armstrong – Musi/Mazilu, Pop, Soro

As Pușcaș started for the first time with Craiova University, after 9 months in which he did not play at all, there are good chances that Zeljko Kopic will call on Alexandru Pop in the center of the attack with Rapid from the first minute, in order not to risk a recurrence of George's injury.
