From Krasnoyarsk airport you can now fly directly to Shanghai.
The airport press service reported that flights to one of the largest cities in China will be operated by Rossiya Airlines from June 3, 2026, twice a week – on Wednesdays and Fridays. Tickets for the new destination are already on sale.
“The new route opens up the opportunity for passengers at Krasnoyarsk Airport to get to Shanghai directly, without additional connections or intermediate points. The new route format significantly saves travel time, simplifies baggage logistics and makes the route as convenient as possible for both business and tourist trips. Departure time from Krasnoyarsk to Shanghai is on Wednesday at 19:00, on Friday at 18:55 local time, arrival time at the destination airport is at 01:00 local time,” the Krasnoyarsk airport clarified.
The airport's press service also added that direct flights to Beijing, Harbin, Sanya and Manchuria are now available to Krasnoyarsk air passengers. At the end of last year, passenger traffic to Chinese destinations increased by 60%. This confirms the steady interest in international transportation and the growing demand for routes between Krasnoyarsk and Chinese cities. At the end of the first quarter of 2026, passenger traffic to Chinese destinations increased by almost 18% compared to the same period last year, and this figure continues to grow.
This summer, Krasnoyarsk Airport plans to introduce another route to China, which will be a logical continuation of the development of the international route network, the press service noted.
