The First All-Russian Forum “State for People” started in Krasnoyarsk

23 April 16:20

Governor Mikhail Kotyukov opened the First All-Russian Forum “State for People” in Krasnoyarsk. It was not by chance that the region was chosen as the site for its holding: the Krasnoyarsk Territory was one of the first in the country to introduce simplified and digital government services and today is considered one of the leaders in their implementation.

The press service of the regional government said that the forum began with a plenary session “Together with people: simplifying work processes to improve the quality of services.” Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, in his address to the participants, emphasized the importance of the practical results of the federal project “State for the People”:

“With this model, a person needs to come to the department in person less often, there are fewer papers to fill out, and the time required for procedures is reduced. Much attention is paid to the development of tools for receiving feedback from people and businesses. It is their opinion that must be relied upon when planning further steps to improve the interaction of citizens with departments, because all this is done for their convenience.”

Mikhail Kotyukov noted that municipalities have joined the project since this year:

“When a person deals with the state, by and large, it doesn’t matter whether the person in front of him is the mayor, the governor or the president. The solution to his request starts from the bottom and goes up. Therefore, the time has come to involve municipalities. We must unite the federal, regional and municipal levels.”

From April 23 to 25, more than 1.5 thousand forum participants will work on the concept of introducing the principles of people-centeredness into state and municipal management at the sites of the National Center “Russia” on the Yenisei and the regional Philharmonic.

The business program includes more than 30 sections. Among the stated topics are digitalization and seamless services for the provision of services within the framework of the objectives of the national project “Data Economy”; exchange of experience of regional practices and the possibility of scaling them; customer-centricity in industries; development of services for SVO participants and their family members, and others.

A separate format is the “Youth Hotel” section. Here, young people and government officials will be able to discuss current issues in an open dialogue. The key events of the forum will be plenary sessions, as well as summing up and awarding the winners of the First All-Russian competition “Customer-Centricity Leader”.

The governor addressed the forum participants:

“If we achieve a result, and we will achieve it, everyone will believe that it should have always been this way – and that’s right. The “State for People” project is one of my favorites; I took part in its development five years ago at the federal level. I am grateful that everyone has gathered today in Krasnoyarsk, at the Rossiya National Center. Here, in the center of the country, we must discuss complex government tasks.”
