The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Public Council, Svetlana Makovskaya. She thanked the deputies of the regional parliament for their involvement and personal control over the work at the facilities and the implementation of various projects.

The program for modernizing school education systems included 41 institutions; expenses for major renovations of buildings and modern technical equipment amounted to more than 5 billion rubles. Today we are convinced that new walls and new equipment provide a powerful incentive for positive changes,” said Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Dodatko.

The speaker noted that the regional authorities are faced with three tasks: infrastructure development, construction and major repairs of institutions, maintenance of education, and work with teaching staff.

Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova announced the statistics. In 2026, it is planned to build 6 more schools and 3 kindergartens in the region. By the end of 2028, it is planned to build at least 28 schools, 5 institutions of secondary vocational education will be renovated by 2027.

Regional coordinator of the federal party project “New School”, deputy of the Legislative Assembly Viktor Kardashov noted that the main global task for the system is to raise a new generation of educated and well-mannered people: “Today, all conditions are being created for this. We visited several institutions, looked at how conditions for children and teachers have changed, and with what joy they go to school. We got acquainted with modern teaching methods and approaches with interest, and saw how creatively the space of educational institutions is used. A lot has been done in the education system over the years and much remains to be done.”

Chairman of the Committee on Education and Culture Vera Oskina emphasized that the wishes of residents of the territories become the basis for positive changes: “Both children, parents, and teachers highly appreciate the created conditions for study, creativity, science, and sports. This is not only a major overhaul, it is a new environment and new opportunities. We see how the quality of education is changing. Much attention in schools is paid to educational work and career guidance. Today we talked, among other things, about opportunities for children to obtain in-demand specialties. The main task of the school is to educate a responsible person, a citizen, a patriot of his homeland.”
