A terrorist attack in the Somali capital Mogadishu killed 32 people and injured more than 60
The incident occurred on one of the capital's beaches. The terrorist attack began with a suicide bombing, after which militants burst onto the beach and opened fire on the survivors. The security forces who arrived later entered into battle with the terrorists, eliminating all five.
Al-Shabab, an al-Qaeda-linked group, claimed responsibility for the attack. The terrorist organization's official statement claims that the attack targeted “apostates and Christian foreigners.”
