Krasnoyarsk law enforcement officers sent an illegal teenager back to Tajikistan

After the intervention of law enforcement officers, a teenager from Tajikistan, who was illegally in Krasnoyarsk, returned to his parents. The regional prosecutor's office spoke about this.

According to the supervisory authority, in April 2025, a 17-year-old boy came to Krasnoyarsk to look at the city and realize his potential. However, the young man’s plans turned out to be rather vague: he did not enroll in studies, did not start working, and his legal situation in Russia remained unresolved after the expiration of the permitted period of stay.

The guy was brought to administrative responsibility for violating the stay regime (Part 1.1 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). The sanction of the article provided for mandatory deportation from the country, but law enforcement officers showed sympathy for the teenager and limited themselves to a fine of 5 thousand rubles.

“However, the young man’s life did not improve after that. Left to his own devices, without means of subsistence or clear goals, he wandered among his acquaintances. This state of affairs raised concerns: in search of funds, he could easily slip into new offenses,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Employees of the supervisory agency, checking administrative materials, identified this case. It turned out that the teenager permanently resides in Tajikistan with his parents, but is in Russia illegally and without legal representatives.

To prevent possible risks for the young man himself and ensure compliance with migration laws, the prosecutor's office appealed the initial decision. The very next day, realizing the legal consequences, the young man voluntarily left the territory of Russia.
