Money fraudulently withdrawn from an ATM in Piatra Neamț. Police are looking for the suspect and are asking for the public's help
The Neamț County Police Inspectorate requests the citizens' support to identify a person suspected of carrying out fraudulent financial operations, after allegedly withdrawing money from an ATM using a woman's card.

According to the police, the incident took place on March 2, around 3:50 p.m., in a bank in Piatra Neamț. An unknown person would have taken advantage of the fact that a bank card remained logged in the ATM and would have withdrawn, without the right, the amount of 1,600 lei.
“On March 2 this year, around 3:50 p.m., an unknown person, taking advantage of the fact that the card of a 44-year-old woman from the same town had been logged at an ATM located in the premises of a bank, in the municipality of Piatra Neamț, allegedly carried out an unauthorized withdrawal of 1,600 lei”the representatives of the Neamț County Police Inspectorate sent.

The investigators state that, until now, the identity of the person has not been established and they appeal to those who can provide relevant information to contact the Piatra-Neamț Municipal Police – Criminal Investigation Bureau, at number 0233.207.009.
The police are continuing their investigations to establish the circumstances in which the incident took place.
