In Krasnoyarsk, the prosecutor's office helped SVO participants receive the required unemployment payments

April 22 18:00

In Krasnoyarsk, at the request of the prosecutor's office, unemployment payments were recalculated for SVO participants.

The press service of the regional supervisory department explained that when military personnel return from the Northern Military District zone and register as unemployed, their past earnings and the very fact of serving in the relevant units are automatically taken into account.

In Krasnoyarsk, in one of the branches of the employment center, a participant in the special operation was registered as unemployed, but a certificate of average salary was not included in his personal file. The materials contained only an extract from the order about where exactly he served, but there were no actual calculation figures necessary to assign benefits.

“The department found itself in a difficult situation: there was no data for calculations, but formally everything was “formalized.” As a result, the fighter received a minimum allowance, although, in fact, his income in the military unit was noticeably higher. In another part of the city the situation was repeated almost in a mirror image. Another SVO participant had information about service in a military unit, but for some reason the employees of the employment center never sent a request to the unit for a certificate of average earnings. And again, according to the results, the minimum allowance instead of the maximum possible,” the prosecutor’s office said.

After a presentation from the prosecutor's office, the official of the department was brought to disciplinary liability. The employment center, having received the necessary certificates from military units, recalculated the benefits. As a result, the military personnel received an additional approximately 50 thousand rubles each.
