Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” denies allegations of layoffs. Reaction to Czarnek's theses

In a statement posted on the company's website, the management board of “Łucznik” firmly denied Czarnek's claims that the factory was at risk of mass layoffs.
“Suggestions that there will be a lack of orders in May this year and that the plant is at risk of layoffs are not reflected in the company's situation.” – it was written in the statement.

The board explained that HR decisions are made based on current operational needs, and the non-renewal of several contracts so far has been of an individual and organizational nature.
Continuity of production and ambitious development plans
According to the management, the factory not only fulfills current orders, but… also has a secured portfolio of contracts for the coming years.
Under these agreements, by the end of November 2026, VIS 100 pistols will be delivered, and in 2027–2029 GROT carbines, VIS 100 pistols and suspended grenade launchers. The Management Board also noted that Work is underway to introduce the latest version of the GROT A3 rifle into the equipment of the Polish Armed Forces.
“The company remains prepared to implement subsequent contracts, in particular in the context of the announced directions of development of the Polish Armed Forces and increasing their numbers,” the press release emphasized.

The Management Board also paid attention to the development of sales on the civilian and export markets and cooperation with uniformed services, including those subordinated to the Ministry of Interior and Administration.
Przemysław Czarnek: “Threat of layoffs.” Management: “It's not true”
During a press conference on Monday in front of the “Łucznik” headquarters in Radom, Przemysław Czarnek stated thatThe plant is struggling with a lack of orders from the state.
“The last orders from the government are just ending. There will be no more orders in May. This workplace is at risk of laying off 140 employees” – said the politician.

However, the factory management considered these statements to be misleading to the public.
