A porcupine escaped from Okhta Park last night – it snorted and ran around Mistolovo in the Leningrad Region, but did not scatter its quills. The promenade of the forest guest was filmed by residents of a nearby residential complex.
Locals reported the fugitive to the Okhta Park Zoo itself. There the loss was confirmed. Then the porcupine was sheltered and fed, and later the spiny one was sent home.
