According to the head of the Afghan diaspora in St. Petersburg, Bakhtiyar Gol Mohammad Nabi, Russian business is ready for an open and constructive dialogue with Afghanistan, the Taliban want the comprehensive development of the partnership.
On April 17, the Taliban ceased to be a terrorist organization. The Russian Supreme Court lifted the ban, which had been in effect since 2004.
