A convict from a Krasnoyarsk special regime colony will represent the region at a ringing competition

The GUFSIN in the Krasnoyarsk Territory held the qualifying stage of a bell ringing competition among convicts. The press service of the department reports this.

The winner was a bell ringer from IK-27 special regime. A video recording of his speech will be sent to the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for participation in the All-Russian stage.

In total, convicts from 11 institutions demonstrated their skills: KP-19, KTB-1, IK-6, IK-15, IK-17, IK-24, IK-27, IK-31, IK-42, LIU-37, pre-trial detention center-3 and the Kansk educational colony. They all study in bell ringing circles.

Participants performed different types of canonical ringing – perezvon, trezvon, blagovest and bust. Some also presented their own improvised compositions. The jury assessed the steady tempo, clear formative elements, the presence of caesuras and accents, as well as dynamic liveliness.

The silver medalist was a convict from the Norilsk penal colony-15 maximum security, who performed a beautiful ringing of bells with shimmering bells. The third place was taken by a convict from KP-19 in Krasnoyarsk, he is mastering the art of bell ringing under the guidance of the professional bell ringer of the Nikolsky temple complex, Alexander Prikhodsky.

In the “Youthful Ringing” category, the jury highly appreciated the performance of a student from the Kansk educational colony.
