Russians sent over 240 thousand ideas to the new People's Program of the United Russia party. 130 thousand initiatives were received online. The collection continues on the EP forums.
“The forums became a good discussion platform, where there were a lot of disputes, many proposals from experts on the ground, and criticism from government representatives. But as a result of these disputes, as we know, the truth is born,” said Vladimir Yakushev, secretary of the party’s general council.
The results of processing the proposals received were presented at the Expert Council chaired by Dmitry Medvedev. Key topics are affordable medicine and medicines, support for families with children, the state of roads, housing and communal services, water supply, ecology, patriotic education, and security.
All initiatives were divided into five semantic blocks, a professional analysis was carried out, and an assessment of feasibility and social significance was carried out. Dmitry Medvedev emphasized that for all sections of the new People's Program of United Russia, the topic of supporting SVO participants is important. The party chairman also noted that it is necessary to develop legislative initiatives in the field of housing construction.
“Working on the people’s program also means working on proposals for future legislation, which will have to be carried out by our fellow party members who have been awarded the honor of being elected to the State Duma. This will actually be, in a certain sense, the order contained in the program,” he emphasized.
President of the Institute of Urban Economics Foundation Nadezhda Kosareva spoke about proposals in the field of housing construction and housing provision. According to her, a review of the initiatives showed that it is necessary to develop rental housing, mechanisms for housing construction cooperatives and integrated development of territories.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, over the past 5 years of implementation of the national program, medical services have become more accessible. Hospitals and clinics are being built and renovated in the region, an example is the modern clinic in Yemelyanovo, and new first-aid posts are being opened in small towns. The quality of public services is improving. Water supply problems are being solved. 24 libraries have been modernized, cultural centers are being overhauled, and children's art schools and colleges are being provided with instruments.
